Listen to Obituary

Susan Hendrix passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 1, 1953, Susan's life was woven with the joys of family, the beauty of nature, and the comfort of home. The love of her life, Zane Hendrix, predeceased her, leaving a legacy of enduring love.

Susan is survived by her sister, Cathy Wilson, and her children, Stephanie Epps (Jamie) and Bryan Hall. Her grandchildren, Emily Wilkey (Matthew), Lauren Epps, and Cameron Hall, were the apples of her eye, and she took immense pride in their every achievement. Her great-grandchild, Caleb Wilkey, was a source of endless delight for Susan.

Susan's love for the outdoors was reflected in her meticulous yardwork and landscaping, which transformed her home into a haven of beauty. Her porch was her sanctuary, a place where she could be found sitting and savoring the simple pleasures of life. Her talent for interior design was not only a hobby but a reflection of her artistic soul, creating spaces that were both beautiful and inviting.

The beach held a special place in Susan's heart, where the rhythmic waves and the vast horizon brought her peace and inspiration. Yet, it was being at home, where Susan felt most content.

Susan's creative spirit will be deeply missed. Please join us as we celebrate her life on Sunday, October 26th at Marietta First Baptist Church in Marietta, SC at 2:00 PM.
