Susan Kay Mickelson Timo, affectionately known as Susie, passed away on March 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Born on March 5, 1958, Susie was known for her loving and kind nature, qualities that shaped her relationships and endeared her to family and friends alike. When the weather was nice she found great joy in spending time outdoors, especially at Kane Lake surrounded by family. And in the cold winter months she enjoyed spending time crocheting or cross stitching while watching true crime and reading. Throughout her life, Susie cared deeply for animals, exemplified by her devoted care for her beloved dog, Sophie. And she could often be found enjoying a crisp cold classic Coca-Cola, one of her most enjoyed simple pleasures.

Surviving Susie are her siblings, Bill Mickelson (Peggy), Rick Mickelson (Shelley), and Julie Terro. She is also survived by her beloved daughter, Jessie Faust. As well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Mickelson. She also mourns the loss of her siblings Mary Maydole (Bill Maydole) and David Mickelson. As well as her husband, Byron Timo.

Susan Kay Mickelson Timo’s life was marked by her loving heart, gentle kindness, and spirited approach to every day. Her memory endures in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she has passed, the warmth she brought into the world continues to inspire and comfort all who had the privilege of knowing her.
