Susan Pruitt

Alice Susan Pruitt, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at the age of 70 in her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. Born on December 11, 1954, to the late Elmore Waldrop and Margaret Waldrop Martin.

Susan was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School. She worked many years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Pruitt, sister, Peggy Sublett (Rick). Her niece Whitney Poole (Adam), nephew Drew Cooper (Alexis). She is also survived by her great nieces; Bailey Black, Avery Cooper, Reagan Cooper and Savannah Poole, along with her aunt Cece Burnette and cousin Dan Hunt (Roy Jordan).

Susan's life was filled with many interests. She was an avid fan of Clemson Football and she loved traveling with Holly to the beach and to see the sights of Charleston. She also enjoyed sitting on her deck listening to wind chimes and planting flowers. Susan's fur babies were her constant companions. Her pets were more than just animals; they were a part of her family and her heart.

Susan's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will endure forever.

Her Celebration of life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church 405 Trailblazer Drive, Travelers Rest SC 29690. Visitation to be held at 12:00 with service following at 1:00.
