Sylvia Bobst Bray

Sylvia Bobst Bray, 74, of Greenville, passed away surrounded by family and friends on December 11, 2022 following a brief illness.
She was born on August 27, 1948 in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Parker High School in Greenville in 1966 and was a longtime employee of Fluor Daniel. She loved animals and had a passion for rescuing dogs in need.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Tad Bray, and wife, Ashley, of Zirconia, NC; grandchildren Kayla Landrum (Blake), Kade Bray, Levi Bray, and Lela Bray; two great-grandsons, Cooper and Cruz Landrum; and one sister, Mitzi Hanan.
She is predeceased by her parents, T/Sgt. John Bobst and Elsie Arnold Bobst, and her brothers, John Bobst and Jan Bell. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local nonprofit animal rescue.
