She was the daughter of the late Richard Holloway Sr. and Myrtle Holloway, and she carried the values of family, loyalty, and compassion throughout her life. Those who knew her will remember her as loving, funny, and friendly, a woman who could brighten a room with her smile and make others feel welcome with ease. She truly never met a stranger, and her gift for conversation and connection left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Tammie spent many years working as a cashier at retail outlets, where her friendly nature and steady presence made her a familiar and trusted face to customers and coworkers alike. She approached her work with patience and a pleasant spirit, and she understood the importance of treating others with respect and kindness. She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Kimbrell and her husband Bobby, as well as her grandsons, Coata Kimbrell, Justin Kimbrell, Konnor Kimbrell, and Seth Waite. She also leaves behind her brother, Richard Holloway, Jr. Tammie treasured her role as a mother and grandmother, and she found great joy in the love and accomplishments of her family. Her devotion to them was steady and sincere, and the bonds she shared with them will remain a source of comfort and strength in the days ahead. The family is in residence in Pelzer.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Waite, whose memory remained close to her heart.
