Teresa Ann Branyon Emory, known affectionately as Teresa Ann to her friends and family, passed away on May 25, 2025 in Greenville, SC where she was born July of 1964 where she was raised. Teresa's life was a testament to her loving nature, adventurous spirit, and thoughtful heart.

Teresa was the cherished daughter of Judy and Chuck Head, and George and Shirley Branyon. She shared a special bond with her siblings, Tracie Moore(Jack) and Tim Branyon. Teresa's life was further enriched by her marriage to her devoted husband, Melvin Emory, with whom she navigated the journey of life's highs and lows. Making the Blue Ridge area of Greenville County their home for nearly 39 years. 

A proud graduate of Washington Ave Christian, Teresa carried the values of her education throughout her life. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her commitment to excellence during her tenure at WundaWeve Carpet, where she worked in Quality Control. Later, she brought her expertise to Alcoa Fujikura LTD as a Fiber Optic Technician. In her role as a homemaker, Teresa's nurturing and caring nature shone brightly, creating a warm and loving environment for her family.

Teresa's zest for life was evident in her diverse interests. She was an avid traveler, always ready for a new adventure, whether it was exploring the beauty of the outdoors, relaxing at the beach, or hiking in the mountains. Her love for reading transported her to different worlds, while her passion for collecting old pottery reflected her appreciation for history and craftsmanship. Her love for the arts didn't stop there as she loved music, and enjoyed an occasional concert. Teresa's enthusiasm for sports was infectious, and she could often be found cheering on her favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers, surrounded by family and friends.

Those who knew Teresa will remember her as a loving individual who always put others before herself. Her adventurous spirit inspired many to seek out new experiences, and her thoughtful gestures brought comfort and joy to those around her. Teresa's presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Melvin; her mother, Judy Head; her stepfather, Chuck Head; her father, George Branyon; her stepmother, Shirley Branyon; her sister, Tracie Moore; her brother-in-law, Jack Moore; her brother, Tim Branyon; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Teresa's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the legacy of a woman who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit will forever remain a part of the community she loved so dearly in the Blue Ridge area of South Carolina. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 1-2 PM, and a memorial service will be held at 2 PM, at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
