Thomas Paul Clary Jr., affectionately known as Tommy to his friends and family, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 67, in his hometown of Cowpens, South Carolina. Born on December 21, 1957, Tommy was a lifelong resident of Cowpens, where he was deeply rooted in the community and cherished by many.

Tommy was a proud graduate of Cowpens High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of community. After graduation, he dedicated many years of service as an operator at Hoechst Celanese, where his work ethic and camaraderie were highly valued by his colleagues. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his family and his passions.

A man of faith, Tommy was a devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church. His belief was the cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guidance. He lived his faith through his actions, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word to those in need.

Tommy's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. As a hunter, he found solace and joy in nature. His enthusiasm for NASCAR was infectious, and he could often be found cheering on his favorite drivers during race season. Horses were another of Tommy's passions, and he spent countless hours caring for and riding these majestic animals.

Above all, Tommy was a family man. He is survived by his beloved son, Thomas Paul Clary III, and his wife, Robin; his daughter, Hannah Nicole Hall, and her husband, Jason; and his cherished grandchildren, Thomas Paul Clary IV, Emma Louise Clary, and Wyatt Lloyd Clary. His sister, Luanne Bogan, also survives him, and together they shared a bond that only siblings can understand.

Tommy was a loving father, grandfather, and a loyal brother. His adventurous spirit and handy skills made him the go-to person in the family for any project or adventure. His laughter and stories will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the lives of those he touched.

As we bid farewell to Tommy, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, adventure, and service. His memory will continue to inspire us, and his spirit will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of his family and friends. Tommy's journey on earth has ended, but his story will be told for generations to come, as an example of a life filled with purpose, joy, and an abundance of love.

The family is at 214 Oakmont Dr, Boiling Springs, SC.
