Mr. Thomas Eugene " Tony " Ferguson

Thomas Eugene " Tony " Ferguson, 77, beloved husband of Marsha Skelton Ferguson for 42 years, died unexpectedly on December 25, 2018 at his home.
Born November 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Fred Ferguson and the late Lottie McCurry Ferguson of Abbeville, SC. Tony attended Anderson Junior College. He joined Daniel International in 1961 and was approaching his 58th year with Fluor Enterprises, Inc, most recently as a Senior Global Welding Engineer. He sat on the Welding Advisory Committee at Greenville Technical College, was an active member of the American Welding Society, and was published in Welding Journal and Hydrocarbon Processing.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Abbeville, SC and was an Eagle Scout. Tony enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, Clemson football, and Harley motorcycles. But he loved his 1983 Datsun 280ZX that had over 300,000 miles on it!
The family is at the home and will have a service at a later time.
