Timothy Blaine Bruce, known affectionately as Blaine to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. Born on June 4, 1959, to the late Robert Blaine Bruce and Betty Scott Bruce, Blaine was a man whose laughter and spirit were as robust as the foundations he built throughout his career in construction.

Blaine's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his passions. He proudly served in the United States Navy, a testament to his adventurous spirit and his commitment to the values of duty and honor. After his service, Blaine returned to Greenville, where he applied the discipline and skills he had acquired to a career in the construction industry. 

In his personal life, Blaine was known for his creative soul, often found with a paintbrush in hand, translating the beauty he saw in the world onto canvas. His artwork was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his inner vision and a source of joy for all who had the privilege of witnessing his talent.

Predeceased by his parents and four siblings, Blaine now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the indelible mark of a life well-lived.
