Tina Goss

d. February 3, 2024

Tina Marie (Sullivan) Goss passed away on the morning of February 3, 2024 in Greer, SC at the age of 48. In her final hours she was surrounded by the immense love of her family and closest friends as her spirit moved on. Tina was a beacon of love, joy and selflessness to all who knew her, and her life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family. Tina had an infectious laughter, and her innate ability to make everyone around her feel special will be her indelible legacy.

Tina was a devoted wife to her husband of 27 years, Patrick Goss, and a nurturing mother to their three children Ashley Goss Boyana (Gopal), Hannah Goss Hayes (Michael), and William Goss. Tina is survived by her parents Paul and Elizabeth Sullivan, and her brothers Paul Sullivan Jr. (Kim), Michael Sullivan, and Daniel Sullivan. She was a cherished aunt to Sabrina Sullivan Denson (Jacob), Amanda, Mia, Kaitlyn, Karlee, Jackson and Avery. Tina was a beloved sister-in-law to Joseph Goss (Jessica) and daughter-in-law to Susan Thathcer-Longo and Chris Longo. Her life long friends Jennifer St. John (Longo), Cari Lyon (Roddrick), Carrie Maksymow (Willis), Althea Bussell and Michelle Brown (Saxton) and their families will forever remember her unshakable dedication, loyalty and love. All of whom were able to make it to her bedside as she slipped away from this mortal world.

Those who were fortunate to know Tina would describe her as loving, funny, selfless and courageous especially in her final weeks. She was wholeheartedly devoted to her family and friends and was always there to lend a hand, an ear or a shoulder to cry on. Her sense of humor always inspired laughter and joy, and she was a source of comfort for all who knew her. Her loving nature made her an exceptional confidant and friend to many. Tina’s selflessness was her hallmark; she gave of herself freely and without expectation, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

In her final days, Tina was winning a battle against cancer, but ultimately succumbed to complications from the treatment of her disease and covid. The love she and her husband shared for each other inspired the hospital to help the family celebrate the wedding of her daughter Ashley, in the hospital just days before her passing. Tina’s life of selflessness, love and caring will continue to inspire all those who came together to make that special moment happen.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday February 23rd, 2024 at 2pm, at the Westville Funerals located at 6010 Whitehorse Rd. Greenville, SC 29611. In addition there will be a live streaming available for those who cannot attend in person.
