Her faith-filled spirit guided her through life's challenges and was a beacon of hope for those around her. Known for her tender nature, she was always ready to offer a helping hand or a kind word to those in need.
Tonya’s passions were as endearing as her character. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—watching scary movies that brought laughter and excitement, engaging in the creative world of coloring, and above all, embracing her role as a devoted caretaker. Her nurturing spirit was evident in every aspect of her life, making her a beloved figure in her community.
She is survived by her cherished daughter, Amber Owens, who carries forward Tonya’s legacy of love and kindness. Tonya’s three treasured grandchildren—Elasha Anderson, Marley Owens, and Ava Jean Owens—were a constant source of joy and pride, receiving from her countless moments of warmth and guidance.
Family ties remained strong and precious throughout Tonya’s life. She leaves behind her sister, Robin Carpenter (Benny), who shared in many memories and seasons of life together; her brother Linwood Davis (Carol), and her nephew and niece, Bryan Carpenter and Bonnie Davis, who each hold special places in her heart.
Tonya was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and Clarence Crosby, whose values and love helped shape who she became, as well as her step-mother Pauline Crosby. In addition, Tonya has joined her husband in heaven, Chris Owens, with whom she shared a profound and enduring bond.
Tonya’s life touched many, marked by her quiet strength, gentle nature, and big-hearted spirit. She will be remembered not only for her passions and personality but for the deep love she freely gave to her family and friends.
