Throughout her life, she remained deeply rooted in the Greenville community she called home, and she will be remembered for the gentle way she cared for others and the steady love she gave to her family and friends.

Wendy was the daughter of the late Billy Lee and Guynell Stewart Lee. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Hartinger. Her memory will also be cherished by her granddaughter, Kaitlin Edens; her grandsons, Bailey Lee and Devan Lee and his wife Angel; and her great-grandsons, Brad Anthony Lee and Walker Johnny Lee. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and her love for her family was one of the greatest constants in her life.

For more than 30 years, Wendy worked as a seamstress, a career that reflected her patience, skill, and dedication. In addition to her long career in sewing, she also worked for more than five years as a biscuit maker at Hardee’s, where she was appreciated for her dependable spirit and her friendly nature. In every role she held, Wendy approached her responsibilities with sincerity and pride.

Outside of work, Wendy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She treasured the simple moments shared with loved ones and valued the closeness of family above all else. Her life was enriched by those relationships, and she gave her time and affection freely to those she loved. Her family will remember her as someone who was always there with a kind word, a warm smile, and a loving heart.
