William Thomas "Tommy" Radford, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, in Marietta, SC, at the age of 71. Born on September 5, 1952, in Greenville, SC, he was a beacon of love and selflessness throughout his life.

Tommy grew up in a close-knit family and was a graduate of the local high school. He spent many years dedicating his skills to J & R Fence, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and strong work ethic. His commitment to his job was paralleled only by his devotion to his family and his faith.

A man of Baptist faith, Tommy's life was a testament to his beliefs. He was a loving and selfless individual who always put others before himself. His warmth and friendliness were felt by everyone he met, creating a legacy of kindness that will be remembered by all.

Tommy was a passionate man, with interests that spoke to the simplicity and beauty of life. He found joy in the outdoors, whether he was casting a line while fishing, cheering at a NASCAR race, or patiently waiting in a hunting stand. His love for all animals was evident to those who knew him, as he welcomed and cared for any creature with a gentle hand.

The family was the cornerstone of Tommy's world. He is survived by his loving daughter, Gina Epps, and her husband Bryan; his adored grandchildren, Bristol and Cade Epps; his caring brothers, Jimmy Radford and his wife Janie, Rocky Burdett and his wife Hillary; and his sisters, Judy McCarson and her husband Kenny, Carol Pruitt, and Pam Williams and her husband PeeWee. His life was enriched by the joy and laughter of his many nieces and nephews. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carolyn Radford; his parents, Alvin and Evelyn Burdett, George Radford and Emily Burdett; and his sister, Jean Wilson.

Tommy's absence will leave a void in the lives of his family and friends, but his spirit will continue to live on through the cherished memories and the stories that will be told for generations. He was a man who created a tapestry of love and kindness with the threads of his actions and the colors of his character.

As we bid farewell to William Thomas "Tommy" Radford, we celebrate a life well-lived and well-loved. His journey on earth may have concluded, but the impact of his love and friendship will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those he touched.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share in the remembrance of a life characterized by love, friendship, and generosity. Tommy's life was a beautiful portrait of the values he held dear, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. He has found his final resting place among the beautiful landscapes he so dearly loved, and we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will always be with us, as enduring as the mountains and as free as the rivers he cherished.
