William (Red) James Rives Jr., 80, of Easley, passed away on Saturday (February 24, 2018) after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Greenville, SC on March 23, 1937.
He was the son of William James Rives and Alleen Ashmore Rives of Greenville and predeceased by both parents and his only sister, Alleen Rives Chalmers of Miami, Florida.
He leaves behind his children, son Brian Joseph Rives (Julie Rives) of Pendleton and daughter Karen Rives Thomas (Lane Thomas) of Easley; two grandsons Brian Ashley Rives and Benjamin Cooper Thomas.
