William Fred Sentelle

W. Fred Sentelle, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at McCall Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years and an infant daughter. Born in Crab Creek, N.C. , he was the son of the late Nicholas and Vera Sentelle. Mr. Sentelle served Honorably in the Army during World War ll and in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired Engineer and member of Mauldin First Baptist Church where he proudly served as a pew angel. Surviving are children, Joe Sentelle (Becky), Maripat Herring (Danny), and William Sentelle (Kimberley); and grandchildren, Patrick, Danielle, Justin, Will, Kolby and Molly. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, S.C. 29680 or Mauldin First Baptist Church, 150 S. Main St., Mauldin, S.C. 29662. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mauldin First Baptist Church from 11:00 am until Noon. The Funeral Service will follow immediately after visitation.
