William "Moe" Sowell, a man of passion and intelligence, whose hands could fix anything, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in Simpsonville, SC. Born on September 4, 1936, in Atlanta, GA, Moe's life was a journey of joy, discovery, and the love of the open road.
Moe was the beloved son of the late William James Sowell and Mary Dell Sowell. He grew up alongside his brothers James Madison Sowell, Phillip Eugene Sowell (deceased) and Robert Stephen Sowell. Moe was a cherished husband to his late wife, Patti Sowell, and a guiding light to his daughters, Regina and Ronda.
As we bid farewell to Moe, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey well-traveled, and a man well-loved. His spirit will continue to ride the highways of heaven, and his memory will remain a beacon of light in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
